The UniCON is a universal configurator for use with all Talia products supporting the in-system configuration option, including Kondor, UMD and VSB products.  The UniCON replaces a multitude of DIP switches, this allows the design to be more future proof allowing new options to be added as the product evolves without the limitation of the hardware dip-switches.

To change the configuration of a Talia product, the UniCON is plugged into the module to be configured with a short RJ cable, a back-lit LCD display provides a menu of options that can be re-configured for each product. Simply change the configuration and unplug the UniCON to restart the product with the new settings.
