Overview

The 3G/HD/SD Multi-Definition Video Router level of the NK family conforms to SMPTE standard 424M, available in 72x72 (NK-3G72),144x144 (NK-3G144), 320x320 (NK-3G320) models, it is capable of handling high bandwidth, broadcast quality digital video.

The 3G/HD/SD Multi-Definition level of the NK family is capable of handling 3G, HD and SD signal streams, as well DVB-ASI and SDTI streams; supporting SMPTE standards 259M, 292M and 344M and 424M.

Designed for low power consumption and maximum thermal efficiency, each of the NK-3G routing switcher frames can be populated from 8x8 up to the frame's maximum size in groups of 8. I/O cards are common across the range. Each router also offers a number of duplicate output slots, ideal for applications that require extensive monitoring. I/O cards, matrix cards, power supplies and control interfaces are all hot swappable. Redundancy options for matrix cards, power supplies and control interfaces are available. All NK-3G routers offer system status monitoring of input and output signals, power supplies, temperature, fan speed and reference via web browser or Phoenix Control Surface.
